When you enter Trinity Episcopal Church you can look up and see that the ceiling resembles the inside hull of a boat. In fact, the name of the part of the church where the congregation sits is called the “nave” from the Latin word navis which means boat. Just as Noah and his family navigated the arc to new life after the flood, the Church holds and navigates all of us to the promised kingdom of God. I thank God for the opportunity to sail with you as rector of Trinity Episcopal Church.
I am an Italian-American from Rochester, New York. I lived in Rochester until the age of twelve, when my family moved to Dallas, Texas. After leaving Texas to go to college in Northern California, I attended my first Episcopal Church service at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. Later, I moved to Athens, Ohio to pursue a master’s degree in International Affairs from Ohio University. I attended the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on the campus of Ohio University and was active in the Canterbury association there. I then moved to East Lansing, Michigan, where I earned a doctorate in Latin American & Caribbean history at Michigan State University. I was received into the Episcopal Church in 2004 by the Rt. Rev. Wendell N. Gibbs, Jr., Tenth Bishop of Michigan.
I met my wife Susanne Eineigel while we were both studying abroad in Southwestern Mexico. She is from British Columbia, Canada. Susanne came to the USA to earn a doctorate in Latin American history at the University of Maryland. We were married in St. Agnes’ Anglican Church in Vancouver in 2006. Susanne and I lived in New York City for three years while I attended the General Theological Seminary. I was ordained to the priesthood in 2010 at Grace Church in Newark, New Jersey by Bishop Gibbs. Our daughter Lucia was born in 2013. Before coming to Kentucky, we lived in New York and Tennessee, where I served parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of New York and the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee.

Jeff Hawks
Chief Parish Verger
Born in St. Petersburg, Florida on St. Bartholomew’s Day, Jeff was baptized at Christmas in Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Forrest City, Arkansas. He began acolyting as a child in 1975 and was confirmed by Bishop Addison Hosea in the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington in 1980. In 2000, Jeff moved to Owensboro and began attending Trinity Church. He graduated from Owensboro Community & Technical College in 2003. Jeff was installed as parish verger by the Rev. Pat Connell in 2004. Four years later, Jeff and his wife LaDonna McBride were married.
Sean Raley
Music Program Director
Trinity is delighted to have Sean Raley as the Music Program Director. A native of Owensboro, Sean attended Owensboro High School before moving away for college and graduate school. Sean writes, “Being a musician for as long as I can remember, I first ventured into church music ministry as a middle schooler. In fact, it was through music that I entered the church. I look forward to worshiping with you as we gather each week to offer ourselves and our gifts to God.”
Sheri Lambrich
Administrative Assistant
Sheri is the administrative assistant for the parish. She joined the staff in January 2014. A resident of Daviess County, she and her husband has two children and three grandchildren. Altar Guild
The Altar Guild is a ministry of quiet service behind the scenes. Sharon directs the Altar Guild for the parish.
Almighty God, grant we beseech thee, that we may handle holy things with reverence, and perform our work with such faithfulness and devotion that it may rise with acceptance before thee and obtain thy blessing; through Christ our Lord.

Susanne Eineigel
Children’s Chapel Coordinator
Susanne is the Volunteer Coordinator of our Sunday Children’s Chapel. She is passionate about working with children and sharing the love of Christ. Susanne is assisted by Pam Terrett, who also serves on our Vestry. They welcome others to be a part of this wonderful ministry.
Doug and Sheila Webster
Acolyte Coordinators
Doug and Sheila are the Acolyte Coordinators for the liturgy, which is the church’s public worship of God, the work of the Christian people. The life of Christ active in the church by the Spirit is expressed through liturgy. Acolytes play an important liturgical role.
